We ask that you read this particular blog with an open mind, we are not attacking any religion but only serve to provide a different frame of mind.
With a title like the one presented a person will feel that the following writing will deal with John, Bob, Jane etc. This will not be the endeavor per se. Let’s take the approach that we are trying to gain dominion over life through comprehension of terms. This world of words will be our garden; the unfortunate part is we can’t provide the original definitions, but we have the ability to decipher the meanings. Let’s begin by overstanding the term name:
Name: reputation… one’s reputation… well-known… appoint
We will begin our investigation in the “garden” of religious sects. We will use terms that are captured in the religious arena through the use of the etymology of particular terms and show a new picture of this group.
With the content provided we hope to spark a greater interest in your minds so that you may do further independent studying, as this will not be an all inclusive writing.
Christianity, one of the worlds dominating religions is shrouded in mystery. Most people who ascribe to the Christian faith have not given in depth thought to the doctrines that have been taught to them since childhood. Often when growing up in the church we’re told not to question the bible and to take it as it is. Or better yet, some Christians take their religious leaders words as fact without further investigation. And so there is no thought given to events like Jacob naming the place where he saw the face of God, Peniel, and it’s association with our pineal gland which is often related to higher consciousness (Genesis 32:30). To be frank most Christians do not read the bible for overstanding.
Religion in its complete context is something that will always remain mysterious to us and will always cause debate and continued wars between groups of different beliefs. However, maybe if we were to take a closer look at religion and gain a degree of knowledge on the subject we would be able to see the similarities between them instead of the division that it causes amongst us.
Religion is said to have began with Judaism, not accounting for the ancient African spiritual beliefs. Judaism accounts for the beginning of mankind and was established in 1000+ BCE. Following Judaism, Christianity was established in 100 CE (1st century) for those who became followers of Christ. The Islamic faith is one of the last faiths to have been established in 600 CE (7th century). Christianity and Islam share a lot of similarities, in fact the prophet Muhammad is said to have proclaimed that he was bringing the same revelation that Moses and Jesus brought to the people. Despite the similarities between the two faiths they have been entrenched in wars since the Crusades, the holy conflicts between the European Catholics and Muslims over the holy city of Jerusalem.
We will start with a brief look at the Christian sect since I was born into this community. After some in depth research I was able to decipher some interesting things in the names and titles in this organization.
Christianity is an organization that is broken into 41,000 plus denominations. Now with this number of camps you would think differences are very prevalent. But, the truth of the matter is that investigation of the terms associated with the sect show that all fall under one authority. Most Christians have no idea that the Pope is the leader of all the various 41,000 sheep groups. Let see how:
- Catholic: pertaining to the WHOLE Christian body, or church.
- Church: the WHOLE body of CHRISTIAN BELIEVERS
- Roman Catholic Church: the Christian Church of which the pope, or bishop of Rome, is THE SUPREME HEAD
With these terms it is safe to say that the Catholic Church is designated the leading body of all registered born again Christian believers. Now the next term:
- Pope: the bishop of Rome as the head of the Roman Catholic Church (papa, father) The website traveler should be aware that the Pope, as bishop of Rome, is the Holy Heavenly Father to whom ALL “Our Father who are in heaven” prayers are sent, because he is the head of all Christians and all Christianity.
Calling yourself a Christian has heavy implications when its etymology is studied:
- Latin *christianus means Christian this term is associated with cretin. What’s a cretin/christianus/Christian by definition
- Cretin-a stupid, obtuse, mentally defective person; French word crestin which LITERALLY means CHRISTIAN i.e., a human being though as an IDIOT
*i.e. means ‘by that we mean’
So, the Pope has been identified as the Father of a mentally retarded group of believers. This implication doesn’t surprise me since throughout the scriptures I cannot remember the Messiah ever calling himself a Christian, so why should we? Reference verses below:
- Acts 26:28
- 1 Peter 4:16-Christian
- Acts 11:26 Christians
These are the only 3 verses in the King James Version that uses the term Christian.
So what is truly in a name? In the next couple of lines I will present some terms and give definitions that are not always told. I will do this by looking into the etymology of the words.
Kabala/cabbala ‘reception, received lore, tradition’ ‘tradition of mystical interpretation of the Old Testament’ ‘to receive, admit, accepted”. Tradition is something passed down, so why isn’t the principles of the kabala used in the Christian faith, when it is clearly a way of understanding the Old Testament by definition.
Denomination is an interesting term in its own right, used to distinguish the different groups of Christian followers. The church is showing that it is built on commerce as each piece has a value or unit of measure, hmmmm. For example there are structural regulations to the church in order to maintain government funding. Basically forcing the church to mix business and saving souls.
Pastor late 14c. (mid-13c. as a surname), “shepherd”, “…., shepherd of souls” very interesting bit of information. The scriptures point out that true believers have a shepherd, a good shepherd (Ez 34:23, Matt 2:6, John 10:14). So, why would the definition of Pastor have shepherd in it? To me any explanation can be best explained using Genesis 11:7 admitting that confusion has been a staple of understanding.
From our investigation you will be able to discover that the church reveals in the terms it uses not only commerce in its practice; but that it is also built on astral worship. For example, the word pastor shows in it’s midst of the term astro when the “r” and the “o” are inverted, which relates to stars or celestial bodies… Deacon and decante have a strong affinity but I will not be able to go in depth in the explanation of their connection but Santos Bonnacci gives an excellent explanation of this very connection (http://www.youtube.com/user/MrAstrotheology/videos).
What Christian fanatics fail to realize is one important issue concerning the bible and it being referenced as God’s word. Who knows what language the deity spoke? What was language created for? If we use the bible to answer this last question we discover that the differences in languages were created for confusion and separation (Genesis 11:7). The bible has been passed down through a string of confusing dialects: Hebrew, Latin, Greek, Kings English, and modern American English. Hebrew was one of the languages of Babel. There has never been a bible that was written in the language that God spoke! This in my view would contribute to the confusion we see in religion, law, economics, and every other facet of life because within the arena language is used. And language very creation was established to separate, confound, and confuse. But, the Christian world never emphasizes this point expressed in their writings? Why?
We thought that it would only be right to shed some light on the Islamic faith as well since it closely aligns with Christianity and to provide you with some brief knowledge of the faith that we have come to associate with jihadist terrorism.
Islam is the Arabic word for submission and derives from the word meaning peace. Religiously it means complete submission to the will of God (Allah). For those who may lack knowledge of the Islamic faith, we may often associate the faith with the belief in another god. However if it is said that the prophet Muhammad was bringing the same message that Moses and Jesus brought, one has to wonder why he is not referred to by any of the names that are in the bible. Allah comes from the Arabic word elah which translates to “a god” or “something worshipped”. Followers of the Islamic faith are referred to as Muslims, which translates to “one who submits (to the faith), and is derived from the root of aslama which translates to “he resigned”.
Despite popular beliefs and media sensationalism, Islam is not a religion or way of life centered on war. Islam is in fact a very peaceful way of life. Most Muslims follow a religion/life of peace, mercy, and forgiveness. Extreme Muslims or what we have come to know as jihadist are only a very small group of the religious sect. Jihad usually is interpreted to mean a “holy war”; however the word literally translates “to struggle, contest, effort”.
“The essential meaning of Jihad is the spiritual, psychological, and physical effort we exert to be close to God and thus achieve a just and harmonious society. Jihad literally means “striving” or “struggle” and is shorthand for Jihad fi Sabeel Allah (struggle for God’s cause). In a sense, every Muslim is a Mujahid, one who strives for God and justice.”
The extreme Muslims believe that they are following the Qu’ran in their practices, specifically Sharia Law. Sharia is a personal religious law and moral guidance for the vast majority of Muslims. Sharia is said to be comparable to the 10 Commandments. Muslim scholars interpret that it is Allah’s ideal law focused on fairness, justice, and mercy.
Unlike Christianity, Islam lacks a governing body, and so each person’s understanding of the Qu’ran is his own individual interpretation. Because the Qu’ran is left to individual interpretation, there are extreme Muslims who continue to believe in some of the harsh capital punishments and the call to war as it relates to nonbelievers.
For example take the verse below, there are Muslims, in most cases extremist who interpret this specific verse literally:
“And kill them wherever you find them, and turn them out from where they have turned you out. And Al-Fitnah [disbelief] is worse than killing… but if they desist, then lo! Allah is forgiving and merciful. And fight them until there is no more Fitnah [disbelief and worshipping of others along with Allah] and worship is for Allah alone. But if they cease, let there be no transgression except against Az-Zalimun (the polytheists, and wrong-doers, etc.)”
Sharia has never been a fixed law; its interpretations and practices have changed over time and only continue to do so. Dependent on the Islamic sect, each camp interprets the law according to their understanding. Despite efforts of some sects to implement Sharia as a national law, it primarily focuses on religious observances and prayer. Scholars agree that particular core values of Sharia are theological and ethical opposed to political. Essentially this law is a personal religious law and moral guidance for many Muslims.
Despite the similarities between Christianity and Islam, there is a distinct difference in the view of their respective prophets. Whereas every Christian church has a picture of Jesus, Islam lacks any images of the prophet Muhammad in their mosques or places of worship. In fact it is said that there are not any known images of Muhammad. The reason for the lack of images is that Muslims believe that the prophet’s image can lead to idolatry instead of reverence for Allah.
In our quest for spiritual enlightenment we want to fasten up loose ends and tie ourselves to the truth, we need to re-member the information we have lost (this is what the very word re-ligion is establishing). Re– to do again… A lot of us are walking amongst the masses asleep and we need to awaken (Buddha-awakened, enlightened, to awake, know, perceive, understands). The scriptures say that my people die for a lack of knowledge. So we need to obtain true knowledge and wisdom (Gnostic-knowing, able to discern, know, perceived, understood, to learn, to come to know). With this true knowledge we can stop the spiritual death of our souls. We hope that within the lines of this blog that we have sparked your interest to investigate what’s in a name. We are functioning with half truths that another person told us. We place a title on ourselves without truly knowing the meaning. Like those people with Ph Ds the very term doctor in the etymology shows this “to confer a degree’ ‘to treat medically’ ‘alter, disguise, falsify”. We must become aware of the meanings behind the terms/words that we use was not done on accident. The word(s) is powerful therefore that is why it was with God. So be careful of the spell you are spell-ing on yourself.
If we view the magic in movie diction we discover something that can also be associated with our everyday life:
Movie moving pictures (our life is this) which is used for entertainment.
- entertainment-provision for support of retainer; manner of social behavior
- retainer-one who holds you in place; to keep possession
When it comes to movies and life the retainer is after your mind. Movies/film/life is built to invoke a state of mesmerism.
- mesmerism-hypnosis which is the coming of sleep
Movies use true magic as they are created in Hollywood. The wood of the Holly is what was used to make the Magician wand to cast spells. Let’s regain are mind through investigation and obtaining wisdom. Using truth to break the spell that this society has placed on us.
Craft and strategy in word play
If we view this with a business mind set we may better comprehend this. This happens all the time in our society a company gets caught in poor business practices. Instead of the company being completely removed, what happens? The company will change their name or give their business a new title. So you will forget the association of the company with the old title. In language this is done with abridging a dictionary. So people are unaware of the truth of why ‘Nice guys finish last’ although in the etymology of nice you discover the meaning of ‘stupid, foolish’.
None of the definition above were created by the authors of this blog… The definitions and meanings are what we discovered in researching each term. For those who are interested in more research on word history read these links:
